| Welcome Ian. I'm in South Wales near Cardiff so abit far from Cambridge Any plans for the classic then or are you keeping it standard and going to move upto a WRX or even an STi in the future? I used to own a JDM classic Impreza WRX that I spent loads on and modified heavily. Got to love the classic's | |

| Bravo Ian Looks awesome. Really nice clean look to that classic and I do like the side light bulbs colour. On my old Subaru they always looked yellow until I eventually changed them to white/blue leds. Also looks good with just a lip boot spoiler. My WRX import came over with an STI spoiler already on it which I hated. I was going to remove it and go for the clean look and your car just proves how good that looks. | |

sneaky Whats under the hood then Ian? EJ20T block? My old Subaru was a 1996 JDM WRX which originally was supposed to have 276bhp running on Japanese higher ron fuel. The engine's bottom end went a month after I bought it and so began the next couple of years of modding/fixing it from top to bottom so to speak. Eventually after some serious engine rebuilding, 3" straight through SS exhaust system, mafless air induction, various other improvements & a SimTek ECU I was running 295bhp@6500rpm (280ft/lb torque ) I do miss my Subaru but it had to go after the engine snapped a conrod through the block and so the engine would need fully rebuilding for the second time in two years. Got a Civic type R 30th Anniverary Edition now which isn't as quick but can still be driven with some vigor.

| Very cool Ian. Should be running above 300bhp easily then I'm guessing by some of the mods I could see. Whats the turbo your running then? Doesn't look like the standard EJ20T turbo and looks pretty big from where I'm sitting I'd start a members car thread in the gallery section if I was you too btw | |

did you do all the work yourself, is it a standard sti engine or a fully forged one??
